When I was a kid, I loved any summer activity that felt like a “best friend club”. My friends and I would dream up secret organizations in my swing set tree house, set up clubs in my basement, and pass around traveling “diaries” all summer long. I loved anything that kept a record or logged our activities, summer book club included! In the vein of these types of girl-club pastimes, I created a The Summer Bestie Book Club for Lilly and her cousin Cam to work on over the next few months. This would work equally well for boys I just happen to live in girl world of course. Lol! The following images are what I’ve created to make this summer book club as simple as possible! Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium: experience the zoo like never before!
This post is sponsored by the Motherhood in partnership with the Pittsburgh Zoo. All opinions remain my own. Last week Lilly and I were invited to experience the zoo in a way we never thought we could. Thanks to the incredible educational initiatives behind the scenes, we got to step behind the curtain and see first hand what goes into taking care of and training the sea lions. Get closer than you ever imagined possible with a wild encounter at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. With families eager to give ... read more

If you can’t find this one at your local craft store try these: Straw clutch from Amazon (with prime). This honestly ... read more

I am not those people. I am a somewhat bedraggled mother of four tourist trying to keep her four children together in the bustle of the big Apple. A non-expert walking around NYC with kids. I am not chic. I live in knock off burks from Kohl’s and I have no clue what I’m doing most of the time. I’m not a paper map reader by nature and I can never seem to find my wallet at the bottom of my bag let alone keep track of our metro card, room key, bellhop ... read more
