Popping in today with an embarrassingly easy dessert that is *perfect* to make with your little ones. It’s super easy, only requires mixing a few ingredients, and is a huge hit for summer entertaining. When Lilly gets to cook dinner with Mommy (she has a subscription to We Cook from her Uncle Casey!) Gracie gets to help make dessert. Win for all!
It’s really as easy as the graphic below. Nothing else to it than that. The amaretto dresses it up a little bit but vanilla works just as well! You could forgo flavoring all together. Totally up to you and your babes! I love putting them in these irish coffee mugs. Makes them look really fancy and -bonus- they are easy to hold.
Give them a try for Father’s Day dessert! You won’t be dissapointed.
Happy Tuesday.

P.S. If you have trouble finding an instant mousse packet in the grocery store- try the baking isle. Then try the italian isle. This brand is the kind I use when making this dessert. Try NOT to use the Jello kind. It just isn’t good in this recipe.
P.P.S. My family will probably disown me for this recipe because my Mom makes the hands down best ever real Chocolate Mousse dessert and it’s just fantastic- rich, creamy, light and airy… full of coffee. I’ll have to share that recipe soon too!
