Last weekend I hauled a carload of stuff including but not limited to a hay bail, a massive tarp, a few bags of apples, thermos of cider, brass garland, quilts, towels, and a whole bunch of pumpkins up to a little clearing in North Park- my favorite place to shoot in the suburbs of Pittsburgh.
Images above courtesy of my trusty iPhone- posted to instagram @sweetersidemom. Heirloom pumpkins courtesy of Whole Foods (aren’t they ah-mazing?!)
I was attempting my first “styled” photo shoot in honor of the beauty of autumn and the newly changing leaves. The day before my first scheduled session, I scouted out the perfect location, complete with leaves that had already turned and a nice open field space beyond the designated “spot”. My first family was beyond adorable- perfectly coordinated outfits and the most handsome little baby boy ever. Seriously? So cute.
There are so many beautiful pictures from this session. I couldn’t help sharing a few more than usual!
Mom was cracking up over this little chicken costume. It was *the*cutest* thing ever.
And because I can’t resist playing with a few photos from every session, here are a few edited images with my favorite matte vintage effects.
Happy Fall! More to come.
