Last weekend I had the challenge of photographing not just one family, but one EXTENDED family that included Grandparents, children and grandchildren. Three generations of family members all gathered for pictures of everyone together. Judging from how infrequently this happens in most families (my own included), I considered myself blessed to be capturing it all. So much joy in the pictures to follow. So many smiles, so many happy people enjoying their time together with all of those beautiful little ones!
The following photo may be one of my favorite photos to date- hopefully I’ll have the opportunity to photograph more grandparents with their whole collection of precious grandchildren more often in the future. That relationship is such a special one- definitely one worth documenting to remember forever.
Congratulations to the Wolf family on the newest sweet addition to the grandchild club- she is a doll and it was a pleasure spending time with your family!

I looooove this! It reminds me of when I got married a couple of years ago. I live in NC and most of my family lives on the West Coast. I was SO surprised to see how many members of my side of the family that were able to make it over. Unfortunately not every single person was there but it still made for a huge extended family photo. =]
