Did I ever share the details of this Giant Starburst quilt? I know I posted a few pics on instagram but those never really do a quilt justice, do they?! Here are a few more below. It was really simple to complete- made up of squares and half square triangles. I’ll try to answer any questions as best I can but the quilt has been long since gifted and I can no longer measure! 😉 The pattern is from one of my favorite quilters’ “Giant Starburst Quilt” that can be found here.
Each starting square of white and print fabric was cut using a 10 1/2″ square quilting grid. I needed 8 fat quarters of different prints (all prints I used were gifted to me, not sure what they are called) and then just white Kona Cotton. I always have some white on hand so I don’t know how much I needed! I’m sure with some simple math you could figure it out. Â I had enough of each fat quarter left to make my own scrappy binding. Love how it all came together with a tiny touch of black and white just for fun.
It’s off in it’s happy home and I’m off dreaming of making more!
