With gyms closed and activities limited, kid friendly workout routines are becoming a necessity! I shared our exercise alphabet on Instagram the other day and so many people “saved” the post so they could come back to it for ideas and/or to make their own exercise alphabet.

Use the kid friendly exercise alphabet by selecting a word. We chose the word Monday for our first workout. Here is what that looked like:
- M- 30 second plank
- O- 50 high knees
- N- 5 laps (jog around the room or around your house etc)
- D- 20 glute bridge holds
- A- 20 mountain climbers
- Y- 5 broad jumps
You can repeat the word a few times or keep picking new words. My girls each wanted to pick a word so we did Zombies, Play and Lilly that day too.
If you want a harder workout for adults just add in some weights or double/triple the number of each exercise.
This kid friendly workout is a fun but simple way to get your blood pumping together and burn some energy.
I wanted to add a quick printable so you could color your own activity alphabet and fill in your own exercises based on what your family likes. You could make these silly moves, sports based exercises, trampoline jumps, outdoor games, jump roping, hula hooping etc etc etc.

Tap and hold to save, print and color! Have fun and GET MOVING!
xoxo
