This post is brought to you in partnership with The Motherhood and Baby Magic. All thoughts, photos and opinions remain my own.

When I was pregnant for the first time, I didn’t really know what I was doing. Pre Pinterest, pre Instagram I just did what I thought I should do when it came to baby must haves and registry items and routines to prepare for baby. I followed the guidelines on Baby’s R Us website (can’t believe it doesn’t even exist anymore- how old am I?!) and gathered all the baby things on planet earth.

Joking, but it sure felt like it at the time! My husband and I lived in a little city house high on top of a steep hill above a trendy neighborhood in PGH. We had a “spare room” in that house that was nothing but a giant closet of baby things. I will always remember all the Baby Magic in that mess. There were four or five entire gift baskets worth of purple lavender Baby Magic products; lotions and shampoos and cleansing cloths. Baby oil and cream. We used Baby Magic for years before buying more Baby Magic to use for many more years. In our next house we had an entire shelf of our linen closet stocked full of little knit baskets that held all the purple Baby Magic bottles we hadn’t used yet. There was always one there to grab when we ran out.

The smell of those bottles of baby products just hits me in the heart every single time I’m near them. Sweet and gentle and light… smells like pure squishy baby to me and I love it.

Now Baby Magic is new and better than ever! They have new scents like sweet buttercup and lavender lullaby and new formulations that are even better for new baby skin. I love that these Baby Magic products contain ingredients that are soft and gentle on baby’s skin. Marshmallow root, camellia oil, Shea butter and more.

Olive’s favorite thing to do right now is put on her own lotion. It’s so sweet and one of very very few times of the day I can count on for no total meltdowns. She sits happily rubbing in dot after dot of lotion.

When she’s finished coating herself in Baby Magic she smells heavenly. I could just eat up her little post-bath, post-lotion self!

Make sure to checkout the entire new line of Baby Magic products on amazon. The cooling hydrogel patch is all kinds of magical- it soothes ailing skin of all kinds from fevers to sunburns. How awesome is that?! Not that I’m hoping my kids get sick or burnt but I can’t wait to try this out.

Have a wonderful weekend friends!
