After getting over the stomach flu, all my sweet girl wanted was chocolate chunk cookies. We started mixing up the dough before realizing we were out of eggs! Oops. And so was born one of the best no egg cookie dough recipes I’ve ever made. It definitely isn’t healthy (if you need that though try this recipe for healthy chocolate chip cookie dough).

You could put these in the little condiment cups with lids for perfect individual serving sized containers of cookie dough. I like these little reusable cups with lids from amazon. Pop one in your kids lunch for a special treat or add them to your own lunch! Something about cookie dough is just so comforting and fun.
No egg cookie dough recipe:
Fun fact: you can bake this cookie dough too! Perfect if you need an egg-allergy friendly chocolate chunk cookie recipe. Bake at 325 for 8-10 minutes.
Ingredients:
12 tbsp salted butter melted
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup applesace
3/4 cups packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup dark chocolate chunks **use vegan chocolate if adhering to a vegan diet!*
Optoinal: 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions: mix all ingredients together in a bowl. It’s easiest to start with the melted butter then add the sugars, vanilla, applesauce, and salt. Last add in the chocolate. That’s it ha! So easy.
Scoop into balls and enjoy! You could dip these in chocolate or drizzle them in candy melts. Or just eat it with a spoon!

I don’t usually mind when my girls eat a little taste of regular cookies dough but if we are making it JUST to eat as dough and not bake, it’s better not to include the eggs just incase. Do you ever make no egg cookie dough just to eat? It’s the best!

Yum.
Happy weekend everyone!
