How to Draw 18 Different Holiday Themed Doodles

December 3, 2018

Process art ebook

December is in full swing everywhere I look which makes it time for my Holiday Directed Drawing pages! What’s a Directed Drawing Page? It’s a simple series of steps used to learn how to draw different doodles. I designed mine to be just four steps long making them perfect for the younger ages as well as older kids and adults! Use your new drawing skills to make cards, doodle on papers, decorate Christmas cards or make your own holiday placemats. So fun!

Try your hand at drawing Jolly Old St. Nick.

Use the blank box at the bottom to add vocabulary, practice writing the word or add names and dates.

Love these simple drawing pages? My 18 Holiday Directed Draws are available now in my Etsy shop.

Just like the Santa Directed Drawing Page, every page has a faint grid in the background to help with spacial planning. Try sliding the printed drawing pages into clear page protectors and let your kids use dry erase markers on top. Or try sticking down some clear contact paper right onto your kitchen table for the same idea. Kids can then practice drawing the steps over and over again.

Stay tuned for three more freebie pages coming soon- a menorah, dreadle and gingerbread house will all be posted in the next few days.

Are you going to give Santa a try?! If you do tag me on Instagram so I can see and share! @sweetersidemom
