I’ve been pouring through tons of directed drawing pages to turn into mini ebooks (insert HAPPY DANCE!) thanks mostly to my sister in laws encouragement behind the scenes. Thanks Haley! This finally feels like my year where so many ideas and interests will hopefully collide into productive income for my little corner of the internet which is going to fuel some big goals we have for our family. My cousin Kelly is always counseling me to put what I want out of life out into the universe and MAKE IT HAPPEN so here’s to doing just that! Your support means so much to me and I’m full of gratitude for being able to offer inspiration and creative ideas here on my blog.

Anyway!
I shared on Instagram that Halloween is not my jam. Don’t kill me! And I got so many messages from you all who feel the same. But I’m not a total Scrooge and I do try to make it fun for the kids. Books and coloring ARE my jam so we have plenty of Halloween fun planned for October around those two things alone!
To go along with my first set of Halloween directed draws I’ve compiled a list of our favorite Halloween picture books! These are great if you need a good classroom read aloud or just some new titles to add to your library. We keep these Halloween books put away all year so they feel new and exciting every October.
Find all of these and more with handy Amazon affiliate links by clicking here: Mega List of 45 Cute Halloween Books for Kids
So many good ones! And now for the directed draws. You can right click and save this freebie or hold down and save if you’re mobile or on an ipad. Feel free to print or just keep them digital and use them on a computer screen, with iPads or document cameras or even on a smart board!
Purchase the directed draw halloween 8 page pack on etsy.
You can also download the whole pack on Teachers Pay Teachers by clicking here. I’m new to that platform so bear with me if it feels bare or clunky. I’m working on it!
Happy reading and drawing (two of my favorite things!),
