Editorial Session With Pose PGH

October 30, 2018

Back in June of last year (where does the time go!) all four girls, Aunt Haley and I spent the evening at POSE PGH in the city. The girls got the full on royal treatment with an editorial style photo session and these captured images from their session are everything to me.

When Lexi and I first discussed this whole experience I jumped all over her ideas for a soft and pastel mood for the session. It suited my girls and our style so well. The amazing balloons by Airheads Balloon Art, outfits they all already had on hand, soft and pretty hair thanks to Ms Dina Mack! It was so perfect. Lexi is such a pro- she did our session consult right in our own home.  The girls were able to connect with her (and admire her amazing purple hair!) right from their own couch. It was low key and low stress and exactly perfect for busy families. She also had refreshments and snacks all ready for the girls at the studio. Lilly said she felt like an actual movie star. So fancy!

How epic are these balloons? They were the most perfect backdrop for my sweet girls and make such an impact. Airheads Ballon Art did an amazing job!

My sweet Gracie Jane. So much has happened for her last year. She was so sweet and patient for her portraits, flashing her cute smile and listening carefully to directions. She and Sal just LOVED getting their hair done and were in awe of each other the whole time. I swear I saw a glimpse of my girls’ future school dance days and hopefully a little window into how they’ll be looking at each other on their wedding days. Grace was whispering “Sal I’m so proud of you, you look GOR RA JUSSS!” Over and over. They really did feel so special.

My oldest love!  She knew every song Lexi played and was so happy for her chance to have photos taken just of herself. She said this must be what models feel like and was elated the entire time.  Lexi coaxed out her real smiles and I love to see that sweet face shining through.

POSE PGH specializes in this type of beautiful imagery.  Each portrait is meant to be a little freeze frame of contemporary art that captures the spirit and personality of each child in an artful way.  Lexi’s images are timeless. These little faces just kill me!

POSE PGH usually books out months in advance so if you want to book an experience like this sometime this year be sure to get in touch asap.

Thanks Lexi for such a fun experience and for these stunning photos.

Have a great week everyone!
