Many of you guys have asked what we’re getting our little baby-obsessed almost-three-year-old for her birthday.
It’s been tricky for her last birthdays because Christmas is SO close- we don’t want to go overboard and have no good ideas left for Santa!
But this year I think we are giving Sally the three absolute best gifts ever and I’m just… so freaking excited to see what she thinks of them.
If you follow my stories on Instagram you know Sally is probably the most babydoll obsessed toddler on the planet. All we do is play with babies, cart babies around, tuck babies in, push babies in strollers. (Mothering so many babies is exhausting ha!)
So here is what we got the doll lover for her third birthday:
1. A “real” infant car seat. You guys, I die. This thing is so realistic! It has a base that actually hooks into the car (I have accepted I may come to regret this lol), a handle that goes up and down, adjustable buckles- the works. It’s so real looking that it actually has warning labels all over making it clear that it cannot be used for human infants. Sally is going to flip.
2. A dolly diaper bag. How cute is this?! It’s the perfect size for a three year old, has side bottle pockets and plenty of space for all the doll diapers and swaddles and burp cloths a kid could need. I filled it up with some extra things (leftover material from swaddles I made for Olive, paci clips etc).
3. A water baby! We saw this ONCE in a TJMAXX or something and Sally calls it “my big baby” and says it’s all she wants for her bday. Once she can actually pick it up and feel it I think she will love it even more than she already thinks she does. My kids have never had a water baby but I’ve read a million reviews so with some common sense hopefully it’s a winner and not a messy disaster. Either way this baby is so cute even without water if you wanted to go that route.
And thats it! I’m pretty confident my sweet girl will be so delighted by her little baby doll birthday suite and be happy as a clam for the rest of eternity (I’m actually wondering if Gracie will be wanting the same things- she loves babies only slightly less than Sally!)
Sally turns 3 on November 5th so I’ll keep you posted on what she thinks!
