I’m making it through these last few days (weeks?) of pregnancy insomnia prepping and planning for the holidays. Any little things I can check off my list will be super helpful as Thanksgivings and Christmas craziness sets in. Today I’ve got our Christmas Book Advent, or countdown, calendar all wrapped and ready to share. There are endless amazing holiday kids books out there- these are just some of our favorites. And a note to parents with brand new little’s- don’t feel pressured to buy 25 kids books all at ounce! Start with a week long book countdown to Christmas and go from there. Add a few new titles each year. I make sure to pack them away safely after Christmas too so that they feel brand new every season. Hope you find some new titles to snag!
Santa is Coming To Philadelphia – linked to the page that shows all the different destinations for this book!
Snow Princesses
Maple and Willows Christmas Tree
The Day Santa Stopped Believing In Harold
Fancy Nancy Splendiferous Christmas
Duck and Goose It’s Time For Christmas
The Night Before Christmas – this book is a truly magical cut paper edition and a book that will for sure become a family heirloom. It’s gorgeous!
Last but not least, this final title is my husbands childhood copy of The Night Before Christmas – he reads it every year to our babies on Christmas Eve right before bed. It’s one of my most favorite family traditions of all time.
If you’ve got more recommendations to add to this list please add them in the comments below!
