I Think I’ve Found the Holy Grail Maternity and Postpartum Outfit…

October 10, 2017

I am sort of cringing sharing these photos today because I’ve just been struggling to accept how I look this pregnancy (gah, I know I’ll miss it someday right?!) but I’m too obsessed with this outfit not to share it with you guys.  Whatever I had planned for myself for my hospital bag is getting immediately replaced with the three things below.

  1. Blanqi support leggings.  I was sort of “meh” on these to be honest earlier in my pregnancy(ies) but now that I know two things: 1. size down and 2. DO NOT DRY (oops) I’m living in these babies and totally in love.  They do seem to relieve some back pain that’s been driving me crazy so that’s a win for me!
  2. Dynashape Seamless Support Nursing Tank.  My friend Amber introduced me to these back when I was nursing Sally.  I have one in nude and one in black and they are LIFE.  While pregnant they provide enough boob support to be worn without a bra (a.k.a. so comfy) and postpartum they are supportive enough to help hold everything in and together (you know what I mean, ha) which is SO GOOD. The straps are true nursing tank straps and clip down for easy access.
  3. Coverme Poncho. Ok this thing! I’ve owned a ton of nursing covers in the past and never really “loved” one. I’m not shy about nursing in public so I never really feel the need to use one and my other ones just sit in the closet. But when Coverme offered to send me one to try out and give my opinion on I thought, what the heck.  But ohmygosh! This thing is SO perfect.  It actually looks totally appropriate to throw on on top of a tank top right now while pregnant. It’s thin and flowy and cut in a really flattering way. And after baby girl is here I know this’ll just be the perfect cover- it’s so versatile (carseat cover, swaddle, blankie etc.) but because it’s so cute I can see myself just tossing it on before I go pick up kids from CCD or need to look semi-dressed in the carpool line, haha. Feeling presentable can be such a mood booster postpartum and I know myself well enough to know this will be fantastic after I give birth! Ordering more asap.

Super easy nursing access.

That’s it!

P.S. How cute is little miss blondie?! Sigh. Can you believe she’ll be three in a few weeks!

Happy Tuesday everyone.

xoxo
