I haven’t written a This List in so long – the kids are playing with duplo listening to the Moana Soundtrack (favorite music ever!) so I have a few free seconds to sit at the computer and get some work done. But before I do the boring stuff, I thought I’d share some current random favorites. I don’t know why online shopping, even online window shopping, is so therapeutic… but browsing all these lovely things always makes me feel so relaxed.
But before the shopping… All the chocolate! I think we’ll make another batch of this fudge today. I can’t seem to keep it in the house! I might add rice crispies or something to change it up. The girls love helping me mix all the melted ingredients together! This is my recipe.
I just finished this book, so I’m adding some new ones to my cart on Amazon. Upon the recommendation of my cousin Kelly, I started watching The Crown on Netflix and was obsessed! It renewed my love of historical fiction so I’ve got a few HF books in my cart like the three below. I also want to read this one because, Gilmore Girls, duh. Any books you currently have on your reading lists?!
America’s First Daughter, Broken Angels, Flight of the Sparrow
Next up is all the adorable Valentine theme dresses out right now for little ones! We gathered a few from Old Navy for our annual vday photos and I’m loving how sweet they are. I love this one too from JCrew and this dress from Gymboree. Adorable!
I’ve been pulling recipes from two cookbooks lately, this one (old favorite, from my Mom) and this one (new favorite, also from my Mom!) We had friends over last night and I made chicken milanese from the first book- so good. Fresh light and perfect for our late lunch/early dinner get together. I also tried this recipe for dessert and it was so yummy! Might have had a piece for breakfast. Mmm.
Can we talk cord lights for a sec?! A la the picture below… so in love. I want to add two of them to our bedroom but I haven’t decided where to get them from or if I want to do anything DIY to the cords myself or leave them alone. I think they’ll go well with the logs in our house though with is always important. Those damn logs take the full design spotlight no matter what I try to do, ha! Best not to fight it.
This one looks ah-MAZING and these are super fun with all the colors! LOVE.
Super Bowl today! Who’s watching?! We actually won’t be watching the whole thing since we sadly have a viewing to attend for a loved one who passed away last week. But we may have an “appetizer” dinner later which is sometimes our favorite! I’m trying these from my friend Jess at Kozy & Co.
Have a happy Sunday!

I’m currently reading Cress. It’s book three in The Lunar Chronicles. They are young adult, fairy tale retelling, sci if books. Such a brilliant way to introcude young readers to sci-fi/fantasy. Book one was Cinder – Cinderella, book was Scarlet – Red Riding Hood, book three is Cress – Rapunzel. I’m a huge bookworm. I’ll have to look up the ones you mentioned on a Goodreads.
