I was so excited to see so many of you who either love taking your kids to the Citizens Bank Children’s Theater shows here in PGH already or who really want to go!! My ticket winner has been announced and I’m so hoping this family loves the show they go to as much as we loved Pete The Cat! I cannot even tell you how much fun we had. It was so neat to see Sally LOVE a live show like this when she notoriously HATES (and will not sit through) even the coolest of TV shows or movies. The girls were riveted the entire time.
And if you follow me on instagram (@sweetersidemom) you might have seen in my stories that they provided Gracie with ASL interpreters for the show! We couldn’t believe it, so wonderful for miss Gracie Jane. She’s young still for dividing her attention between the live action and watching the signs but she was definitely keeping track of both, scanning back and forth. She introduced herself to the two interpreters who were signing for her and showed them her hearrings. It was adorable. Her little hands move too when she’s watching signs she knows. So sweet.
We attended the show at our local intermediate school which was so nice! Super close by, and smaller and more intimate feeling. Can’t say enough good things. The cast did such a wonderful job animating one of our favorite book animals and we all left smiling so big.
The next show is Elephant and Piggie (squeal!) which the girls are just dying for. We adore Elephant and Piggie (click if you don’t know them yet!) and can’t wait to see how they come to life on stage. If you want to find tickets and show times head here.
Have a wonderful Friday lovelies!
