I know I already told you I’m addicted to birth photography which is totally true (did you get a chance to see sweet baby Dawson’s birth story from a few weeks ago?!). But I am also totally and completely in love with taking hospital photos. The peace that exists in the moments after the chaos and emotional-physical loudness of birth is so magical and unique. Mom has risen to the highest challenge of labor and delivery, made it through in one peace, and is finally able to meet and hold her baby on the outside of her body. Crying hasn’t yet become a noise we’d prefer not to hear, and each little squeak and sound and movement is celebrated. Add three little siblings eager to meet their newest family member and you can pretty much find my heart parts all over the floor. These big siblings you’ll see below… they are the sweetest. So quiet and trusting of their Dad as they walked into the hospital to find their Mom. I can’t handle all the faces they made as they got to meet their new baby sister for the first time. All the love here. Welcome to the world, again, baby Dawson!
