DIY Hairbows (Because with three girls, can you ever really have enough?!)

July 24, 2015

Hair bows are like socks in our house. They just disappear no matter what methods I employ to keep them contained. The cuter they are, the more likely they are to vanish. Such are the ways of the world I suppose.

I was so excited to get all of this in the mail from My Sunshine Shoppe:

The girls freaked when I told them that they were going to be bow designers for the day. Lilly is obsessed with dress and accessory designing lately so she was so cute when I said she gets to make REAL hair clips! She wants them to match all of her back to school clothes. Man, I love having girls.

I operated the hot glue gun and basically just followed orders from the girls about what to glue where and when! Ha. Little slave drivers.

The best part about this project, though, was that so many super cute details came ALREADY MADE from My Sunshine Shoppe.  (And as much as they sent to me, there is probably five times MORE super cute flowers and bows and ribbon and such in their selection to choose from). I didn’t have to fuss with cutting or sewing or doing anything crazy complicated. I could just indulge the girls in making whatever they thought looked cute and call it a day! We spent almost three hours doing this project- that’s CRAZY long even for my art loving girls.

I told the girls we could do this one more time before school and then maybe we’ll have enough clips to last us until Halloween. Not even joking.

I want to get some of these and these and maybe a few sample packs like these!

Go over and order some for your own girls! Use the code FREE10 to get 10% off!

What a happy way to end our week! 🙂

Now for lunch, naps and evening photo shoot prep.

Have a great weekend!
