Bolthouse Farms Kids #snackmob!

July 30, 2015

So I literally almost accosted our FedEx guy as he was delivering our box of Bolthouse Farms KidsTM stuff for me to share with all of you! I was so excited to get my hands on their products as I’ve read so many good things about their ingredient lists (healthy, simple- awesome) that I jumped out of our car in the street on our way out to do errands. Can’t have yummy snacks sitting out in the sun now can we! (Sorry FedEx man…)

Bolthouse Farms KidsTM is a refrigerated line of real fruit and veggie snacks for kids, found in the produce section. Find them in the Produce Section at your local Giant Eagle.

–  Contains no added preservatives, high-fructose corn syrup, or artificial flavors.
–  Perfect snack solution to get kids to eat more fruits and veggies.

Guess what that means? These handy snacks can be grabbed for breakfast on the fly (what I always seem to need to give my kids, ha) or handed out to my little ones when they’re hot and sweaty from playing in the summer sun. I love expanding my arsenal of easy to handle, easy to store, HEALTHY snacks for my girls. Even my 8 month old can get in on the fun since the ingredients are so simple, natural and pure. How great is that?

Smoothies are packaged in an individual serving “kid-size” bottle for on-the-go occasions in two fun flavors: Strawberry Meets Banana, Peach Meets Mango

–  They’re packed with 1 1⁄2 servings of fruit per 6-oz bottle and contain no dairy.
–  Smoothies contain no added preservatives, high-fructose corn syrup, or artificial flavors.
–  With 80-90 calories per bottle, these smoothies are full of flavor and easy to pack in any lunch box.

We’re going to have to stock up on smoothies because Dad seemed to love them too 😉 The girls have to remind him, these are for the KIDS!
I think I’m most excited to stock up on all of the Bolthouse Farms KidsTM snacks for our upcoming summer trips to the lake and the beach. No one wants to fuss with anything complicated on vacation but I hate handing out junk all the time when we’re on the road.
My girls were pretty impressed with the carrot packs with ranch SEASONING instead of dip. They know I don’t let them have dip in the car or at the beach (too messy, and ewww- sand in your dip? no thanks) so this is the most perfect healthy solution imaginable.

Veggie Snackers: Skip the chips and grab some fresh veggies with these fun-sized baby carrot snacks. Two varieties available: Carrot Meets Ranch, Carrot Meets Chili Lime

–  The individual sized bags unleash tremendous flavor with all-natural seasoning and just a pinch of salt.
–  These baby carrots pack a punch of crunch at just 25 calories per pack. Go ahead and shake your way to snack time fun!

Fruit Tubes are squeezable, slim tubes of real fruit puree blends featuring three fun flavors: Mango Meets Banana & Pineapple, Strawberry Meets Banana, and Blueberry Meets Raspberry.

–  The fruit tubes can be served chilled or frozen.
–  At just 30-40 calories, and no added sugar or preservatives, these tubes are a delicious snack for your little one.

And -cue all the Mama tears- Lilly reminds me constantly how perfect the Fruit Tubes will be for packing in her lunchbox in the fall.  We’ll freeze them and they’ll be perfectly cold and thawed by lunch time!  Let’s try not to say the “K” word yet, though, shall we?! I can’t handle it.
Anyway, we’re pretty excited about attending these events in general in our awesome city in the next couple of weeks (seriously, how GREAT is Pittsburgh in the summer?!) If you are going to any of them come say HI or let me know you’ll be there too so I can find you. We love making new friends!

August 2: Snack Mob kickoff event at Settlers Ridge Market District (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
