My sweet friend turned me on to Minted last year when we received her family’s adorable Christmas card. I was impressed with the quality of the image printed so nicely on beautiful card stock – the card was completely perfect. The same friend’s card was perfect again this year. I didn’t even need to flip it over to know it was from Minted. After that, and many times since, I’ve browsed their website countless times, oohing and aahing over such a lovely collection of curated designs for all different types of cards and announcements. I really think Minted hits the nail on the head with their detailed creations and has something that suits every style and (more importantly) every family in just the right feels-really-unique way. Their foil pressed cards are completely blowing me away this year. All the heart eyes!
You might be able to guess that I was super excited when Minted emailed and asked if I’d take a peak at their new 2015 Save the Date collection and share my thoughts with you all. A legitimate reason to waste enjoy an extended period of time browsing beautiful things?! I could be convinced. 😉 Once I started clicking through the collection though, guys, I just could. not. stop. One design is more beautiful than the last and it’s so tempting (and easy) to change all of the color combinations, take a look at the matching wedding components like Invitations and Menu cards… I don’t even know how I would chose. I didn’t have to pick a Save the Date for my own wedding!
Brandon and I got married 5 years ago in my hometown, a utopian suburb of Philadelphia called The Main Line. We were already living in Pittsburgh and I was knees deep into a tough senior year course load in college. I was 4 months pregnant with Lilly and even though it meant speeding up the timeline of getting married, Brandon and I knew in our hearts we wanted to be married in a Church before God BEFORE our daughter was born. It was important to us. But little luxury wedding details fell by the wayside. Things I might have loved to do in another time and place weren’t important anymore and our wedding became this incredible gathering of friends and family that lacked nothing from the exclusion of those things. Our families and our friends came together in the best way to create a whole weekend that remains one of the best in my life!
All that being said, it’s still super fun to look at wedding things. Beautiful paper products, creative font, thoughtful details and of course- premium quality card stock that (bonus!) is acid free and able to be kept beautifully forever. Minted takes great pride in their materials and it truly shows. I loved picking out a few favorite Save the Dates to share with you all. Couldn’t you stare at these all day?!
Can you imagine the cakes that could stem from those incredible florals?!
Swoon worth lettering.
And I love the idea of getting a Save the Date postcard for a destination wedding. So authentic.
Of course, it’s always nice to showcase a single image from your engagement session or just a beautiful image the two of you love. I really like the simplicity and focus that a single full-bleed photo brings to a card. Definitely pulls your guests right into your love story!
Do you think the 2015 Save the Date collection is as beautiful as I do? Bravo, Minted.
And p.s. … if you have a few more minutes to waste use browsing around the internet, you MUST check out Minted’s Art Marketplace. I’m d.y.i.n.g. over here paging through amazing art! There are a few pieces permanently having a party in my virtual cart while I measure some wall space for new art. Sigh. I love the way Minted connects you with the artist. That speaks volumes about the company itself.
