Backpacks and #babyhood: Outfitting your little traveler from buybuy BABY

August 16, 2016

One of the things I love most about traveling is getting to surprise the girls with fun things I know they’ll love. I have such happy memories of new backpacks filled with fun surprises from all the traveling my family did when my brothers and I were small. Think silly putty, new glitter crayons and fruity mentos!  That was the best feeling- finding a seat on the airplane and unzipping your backpack to find out what was inside.  And then compare it with your brothers and see who got the best loot- ha! Me, always me.

In hindsight, my Mom always packed us cool stuff in our backpacks because A. she had FIVE little ones to keep track of and NO WAY was she going to carry around all that stuff and B. everything packed inside those little backpacks was going to save her sanity on long flights (not long like California long, long like Japan and back long). Phew, Mom you are the original supermom.

I’m kind of in love with all the backpacks from buybuy BABY! Have you seen them all yet?! You can –click here– to see them all together. Brands like SkipHop, SoYoung, Stephen Joseph, Babiators, Lassig, JJ Cole and more. We, of course, had to scoop up this little Deer backpack for Sally since she collects deer, same with Gracie and this Giraffe backpack (love!) and then Lilly chose this one of course, little horse lover.

They loved that they could use a new bag for traveling that wasn’t their school backpack and I loved how easy they were to keep track of in the airport. We didn’t see a single other deer backpack in our travels, that’s for sure!

This stroller was a Godsend in Disney World, just sayin’. Also happens to be from buybuy BABY! Woo Hoo! I cannot tell you how many people stopped us to ask us what kind it was. They’d watch Brandon or I one handed whip that thing down so tiny, sling it over our shoulder and carry it on the bus and they were sold!

Happy travels, everyone.
