The girlies and I traveled back to Philly this weekend for the 14-cake wedding order I was finally getting to finish. The bride and I have been planning this for quite some time so I was super excited to get them finished and see them at her wedding! Her creative idea was to use a totally unique, real, cake (and all different cake stands!) as the centerpiece on each reception table- I know, I know. Amazing! Despite a fair amount of chaos, many hours in the kitchen, and immeasurable assistance from my Mom (baking partner extraordinaire), I am so happy with how they turned out.

I can’t really pick a favorite, but I do particularly love the anchors and the vegan cake…and the blue ring cake…
Special thanks again to my Mom and my best friend Natalie for helping me deliver these (no easy feat!). We only had one casualty but all was well in the end. After feeling a little bit burnt out on cakes, my love is renewed. Order some cakes, people! I’m on a roll 😉 Congrats again, A and E. Such a beautiful wedding.
The next order I have to focus on is a few hundred wedding cupcakes and a cutting cake. Back to the kitchen I go!
