CMV Awareness & Prevention
A Cause Close to My Heart
Our second daughter, Grace, was born with congenital Cytomegolovirus on February 20th, 2012. 1 in 150 children are born with this virus every single year yet only 14% of women have heard of CMV. This devastating virus impacts more children than many other more well-known infections and syndromes- even syndromes as well known as Downs Syndrome. I share her journey with you in hopes of educating more women and families about this dangerous infection and what we all can do to prevent it's transmission.
